A certain hydraulic press, a force of 100N is applied to master piston of area 25cm^2. If it is designed to produce a force of 6000N, determine
a. The area of the slave piston.
b. Radius of the slave piston.

a. F(master)/A(master) = F(slave)/A(slave)
100N/25cm^2 =6000N/A(slave)
A(slave) =(6000x25)/(1000000)
=0.15 m^2
b. A= pr^2
0.15 = pr^2
r= 0.048m
r=4.8 cm
